Tuition & Scheduling Information

Welcome! We’re so glad to be part of your musical journey. Below you’ll find details about tuition, scheduling, and studio practices to help everything run smoothly.

Tuition Overview

    •    Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and remains consistent, regardless of the number of lessons in that month.

    •    Most months include four weekly lessons. Some may have five, while others (such as November and December) may have three, due to holidays.

    •    A detailed studio calendar is avaible here on our site.

Cancellations & Make-Up Lessons

    •    Tuition is not prorated for missed lessons.

    •    If you need to miss a lesson, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. When possible, we’ll do our best to offer a make-up lesson within 7 days, depending on availability.

    •    Remote options (like Zoom, FaceTime, or a recorded video lesson) may be offered, based on the student’s level and needs.

Payments

We accept several  payment methods:

    •    Check – payable to St. Augustine Music Center

    •    Zelle – invoice sent on the 1st of each month

    •    Venmo – @staugmusic

(Please note: Venmo and other digital payments may include transaction fees.)

Summer Lessons

We operate year-round, including throughout the summer.

    •    Flexible summer scheduling is available to work around travel and other plans.

    •    If you plan to take a break, tuition is still due on the 1st to reserve your lesson time.

    •    Any missed summer lessons can be made up, as long as your tuition is current and your spot was held.

Discontinuing Lessons

We understand interests can shift! If your student is feeling less motivated, we’d love a chance to adjust the focus and find fresh ways to inspire them. Communication is key.

If you do decide to pause or stop lessons:

    •    Please notify us in writing (via email) by the 15th of your final month.

    •    Tuition will not be prorated for partial attendance.

    •    The full final month’s tuition is still due to cover the reserved time slot.
